My works are shaped specifically by the places in which I live and work, the social conditions and relationships in which I find myself and the images and narratives I encounter. As for the passed four years of my practice, my works have been a conclusion of a thinking process originating from a personal center, then awakening to a more common (societal) problem. I frequently focus on the characters whom I extract from a photograph or a memory that I do not wish to forget. Through these characters, I derive silhouettes from a once-suppressed but very colorful world. I rewrite a story. I construct a fable tale-like story, whilst reminding myself my existence and identity. In this story, things and people are real.
